Rules of Play 2024

H.O.P.E. 50/50 Rules of Play:
- The lottery will take place from Friday, July 12th 2024 at 5 PM to Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 5PM at HOPE Volleyball SummerFest (2960 Riverside Dr., Ottawa, ON, K1V 8N4)
- A player must be over 18 years of age and be physically located within the province of Ontario at the time of the ticket purchase.
- Tickets prices will be 10 for $10, 30 for $20, 50 for $30 and 100 for $
- Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Canadian Bank Note Company, Ltd.
- HOPE Volleyball SummerFest is a cashless event, so is not accepted for purchases. “Tap and go” or “chip and PIN” debit and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express) as well as other contactless devices and mobile wallets will be accepted payment methods.
- Purchases must be made no later than 4:30PM on Saturday, July 13th 2024 in order to be eligible for the All sales are final.
- After buying, the player will be provided an email receipt/ticket or physical receipt/ticket, depending on the purchase method. The raffle numbers generated from the Random Number Issuing System will be displayed. Specific numbers cannot be provided.
- In the event that a purchased ticket is void, or deemed to be void, the H.O.P.E. representatives may, at their option (a) replace the ticket with new randomly generated raffle numbers or, (b) provide a refund.
- The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
- The prize will be 50% of the total draw sales.
- The winning number will be announced on O.P.E.'s website (hopehelps.com) through social media channels, and over the PA system from the stage during the event.
- The winner may claim their prize by contacting the H.O.P.E. office at: (613) 237-1433 or by email at: 5050@hopeottawa.com.
- O.P.E reserves the right to satisfy itself that a person claiming a prize is entitled, and will remain entitled, as the lawful bearer of a winning ticket. The winning number must be verified and proof of the ticket purchase. (i.e. physical ticket) must be provided to the H.O.P.E. office at 1390 Prince of Wales Dr., Suite 406.
- The bearer of the winning ticket must complete a 50/50 Prize Claim Form to claim their prize. The winner must provide photo identification and verify their phone number and address. H.O.P.E. reserves the right to satisfy itself as to the validity of any ticket that is presented as a winning ticket
- The amount of the prize will be 50% of the total draw sales. At least 2 weeks will be allowed after the verification process before the prize is awarded. The winner will be awarded the prize amount via e-transfer or by another method deemed appropriate by H.O.P.E.
- The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw.
- Prizes will be secured or placed in safekeeping by H.O.P.E. for a period of 6 months from the date of the draw. If the prize has still not been claimed by the end of the 6 month period, the prize will be donated back to H.O.P.E. with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
